This is from a 90 min show highlighting the last interview Dahmer gave before being killed in prison. The man beside him is his father. It's frightening how intelligent, lucid and eloquent Dahmer seems. It's no wonder he was able to hide his secret life so long. At one point, he was able to talk his way out of being investigated -- even though his mostly naked 14 y/o victim was right in front of police. He somehow convinced them that the boy was his 19 y/o lover, and that the kid was drunk after they quarreled. While the cops were somewhat incompetent (see Wikipedia entry), Dahmer's demeanor clearly had an effect.
